Why two people is the point
Most places you take a phone to are a counter in front of somebody else's company. The person serving you did not set the prices, does not do the repair, and will not be there when you come back.
Here, the person you are talking to is the business. That means you get a straight answer, because there is nobody to hide behind, and it means a bad job follows us home.
It also means we are honest about what we are not. We are not open twenty four hours. There is no queue of technicians waiting. When both of us are on a job, the phone rings through to a voicemail that a real person listens to. We would rather tell you that than pretend to be bigger than we are.
